You will strip the plating off entirely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mild Abrasive:<\/strong> For stubborn tarnish, you can use a very fine <strong>Scotch-Brite<\/strong> pad or a pencil eraser very gently, then clean with alcohol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prevention:<\/strong> Green corrosion usually means the connector was unmated while wet.
