As ROVs become more electrically noisy (PWM thrusters), shielding is vital.
- Standard Grounding: In standard cables, the drain wire or shield is crimped to a designated pin (e.g., Pin 1 or the center pin).
- Shell Grounding: For maximum performance, we can bond the cable shield directly to the Stainless Steel/Titanium Shell. This ensures the noise is shunted to the chassis ground immediately.
- Twisted Pairs: Inside the cable, signal wires are twisted to cancel out electromagnetic interference (crosstalk).
