Are HYSF connectors fully intermateable with existing ROV industry standards?

Yes. Our Miniature and Standard series are designed to be 100% intermateable with industry-standard interfaces (including SubConn® and others). This “Form, Fit, and Function” compatibility allows ROV manufacturers and service providers to use HYSF as a direct, high-reliability replacement or upgrade without any mechanical modifications to their existing bulkheads or cable assemblies.

Most of our ROV-specific connectors, including the Miniature 2-25 core series, are hydrostatically pressure-tested for operations at depths up to 7 000 mètres (environ 10 000 PSI). This makes them suitable for everything from shallow-water observation ROVs to deep-ocean Work-Class ROVs and scientific AUVs.

Absolutely. We specialize in L-shaped (right-angle) connectors for both our Miniature and Standard ranges. These are specifically engineered for compact ROV designs where internal space is limited, helping to reduce cable strain and allowing for a more streamlined and hydrodynamic vehicle profile.

Yes, we provide full-service custom cable assemblies. We can tailor the cable length, shielding, and jacket material (such as PUR or Neoprene) to meet your specific AUV tethering or ROV internal wiring requirements. Every assembly is 100% tested for electrical continuity and insulation resistance before shipping.

To ensure longevity in harsh saline environments, our connector housings are available in Acier inoxydable 316L and Titanium (Grade 5). We use high-resilience Neoprene rubber for the overmolding and gold-plated brass contacts to ensure optimal conductivity and prevent oxidation during long-term offshore deployments.

We understand that subsea projects often operate on tight schedules. While many industry providers require 8–12 weeks, HYSF typically maintains a lead time of 3 à 5 semaines for standard configurations. For urgent ROV maintenance or rapid prototyping needs, we also keep a selection of common core counts in stock for immediate dispatch.
