How does HYSF prevent Galvanic Corrosion (Dissimilar Metal Corrosion)?

Your connector is part of a larger electrical system.

• Material Matching: We advise against mating a Stainless Steel connector to an Aluminum housing without isolation, as the Aluminum will corrode rapidly to protect the Steel.
• Isolation: We supply non-conductive mounting kits (washers/sleeves) to electrically isolate the bulkhead connector from the host chassis.
• Design Advice: Always ensure your vehicle has adequate Zinc or Magnesium anodes protecting the entire assembly.
