Not at all. We utilize premium gold-plated contacts and high-grade shielding specifically designed to maintain signal integrity. By minimizing contact resistance and electromagnetic interference (EMI), our connectors ensure a clean, stable data path, preventing flickering, ghosting, or data drops in high-definition video streams.
Why is the L-shaped (90-degree) connector recommended for camera housings?
Underwater camera housings are often bulky. The L-shaped (90°) connector allows the cable to run parallel to the housing surface rather than sticking straight out. This reduces the overall footprint, prevents cables from snagging on underwater obstacles, and significantly reduces the leverage stress on the bulkhead port.
Can HYSF connectors be used with aluminum camera housings to prevent galvanic corrosion?
Yes. For aluminum housings, we provide connectors with 316L Stainless Steel or Titanium bodies. When properly maintained with an anode system or isolating washers, these materials offer excellent longevity. Our specialized Neoprene overmolding also acts as an additional barrier against the harsh electrolytic action of seawater.
Are your "Round Small" connectors strong enough for deep-sea lighting at 7,000m?
Absolutely. Despite their miniaturized size, our Round Small series is hydrostatically pressure-tested to the same rigorous standards as our larger connectors. They are rated for depths up to 7 000 meter, making them perfect for high-power LED arrays on deep-submergence ROVs and scientific landers.
