How do I properly unmate (disconnect) the connectors?

Disconnecting requires patience.

• The Vacuum: After being under pressure, the rubber interface often creates a partial vacuum seal.
• Technique: If it’s stuck, you can gently “rock” the connector slightly (very small angle) while pulling to break the suction, but avoid rotating it.
• Safety: Pulling by the cable (pigtail) puts all the stress on the solder cups inside the mold. Doing this repeatedly will eventually cause an “Open Circuit” failure.
