What are the Voltage and Current ratings for HYSF connectors?

The electrical ratings vary by series. Generally, our Micro Series is rated for 300V / 5A-10A per contact. The Standard Series is rated for 600V / 10A-25A. For high-power applications, our dedicated High-Power Series can handle up to 60A or more at 3000V, depending on the specific pin configuration.

Choosing the right rating is critical for system safety. HYSF connectors are designed with ample safety margins:

  • Micro Circular Series: Typically rated at 300 V DC/AC with current varying from 2.5A to 10A depending on the number of pins (2-pin vs 16-pin).
  • L-Type & Standard Series: As indicated in our datasheets, the L-Type series is rated for 550 V AC/DC and can carry currents from 5A up to 60A.
  • Testing: All connectors undergo Dielectric Withstand Voltage (Hipot) testing at 1000V+ to ensure the insulation layers can handle voltage spikes without breakdown.
  • Note: Current ratings are usually specified per contact. For bundled power delivery, de-rating factors may apply.
