High voltage underwater is risky.
- Design Physics: We increase the physical distance between pins and the metal shell to prevent “Flashover.”
- Partial Discharge (PD): We pay special attention to avoiding internal voids in the insulation, as these can cause Partial Discharge, leading to long-term insulation failure.
- Testing: Custom HV connectors undergo Hi-Pot testing at significantly higher safety factors (e.g., 2x Rated Voltage + 1000V) to ensure absolute safety.
