Can you design custom Penetrators (Feedthroughs) for pressure hulls?

Yes. Besides mateable connectors, we design custom Hull Penetrators (Feedthroughs) that carry wires through a pressure vessel wall without a disconnect feature. We can customize the flange size, bolt pattern, and wire density (e.g., 100+ wires in a single penetration) to maximize the utility of your viewport or end-cap space.

Penetrators are the most secure way to pass cables into a 1-atmosphere housing.

  • High Density: Since there are no mating pins, we can pack wires much closer together, allowing for massive I/O in a small footprint.
  • Safety: We use Glass-to-Metal Sealing or high-pressure epoxy potting to ensure a hermetic seal that is virtually leak-proof.
  • Interfaces: We can terminate the internal side with standard headers (e.g., Molex/JST) for easy connection to your PCB.
