Do you offer Non-Magnetic connectors for defense applications?

Yes. For Mine Countermeasures (MCM) vessels or magnetic anomaly detection systems, “magnetic signature” is a critical constraint. HYSF can manufacture connectors using Titanium Grade 5, Marine Bronze, or Beryllium Copper, ensuring extremely low magnetic permeability to avoid triggering magnetic mines or interfering with sensors.

Standard Stainless Steel (even 316L) can retain slight magnetism after machining.

  • Material Selection: We carefully select raw materials with low magnetic permeability (µ).
  • Process: We avoid using nickel underplates (which are magnetic) in the plating process for these specific orders.
  • Verification: We can provide a Magnetic Permeability Test Report with the shipment to certify the component is “Non-Magnetic.”
