Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing Dummy Plugs (Blind Plugs) and Locking Sleeves alongside your connectors. These accessories are critical for protecting unmated connectors from water ingress and physical damage during storage or maintenance operations.

A connector is most vulnerable when it is not mated.

Dummy Plugs: Whether it’s a Male or Female Dummy, these essential accessories seal the connector face when the cable is disconnected, maintaining the 60MPa pressure rating even when the equipment is idle.
Locking Sleeves: We supply robust locking sleeves (POM or Stainless Steel) to secure the connection against vibration and accidental decoupling.
Ordering: These can be added to your BOM (Bill of Materials) at a minimal cost but offer maximum protection for your investment.
