For complete cable assemblies (connector + cable), 854442 (Insulated electric conductors fitted with connectors) is often used.

Correct classification is vital to avoid customs delays and calculate import duties accurately.

Connectors Only: generally fall under 8536.90.
Cable Assemblies: If the connector is molded onto a cable (pigtail), it is often classified as a cable assembly under 8544.42.
