What materials are used for the contacts and plating?

The contact is the heart of the connector.

• Substrate: Brass provides the mechanical strength, while Beryllium Copper provides the necessary spring elasticity for the female sockets.
• Plating: We use a “Mil-Spec” grade gold plating. Gold is a noble metal that does not oxidize in seawater, ensuring that the 접촉 저항 stays low over the 20-year design life of the product.
