Find Your Subsea Connector
Answer a few engineering questions and compare suitable HYSF connector families for power, signal, Ethernet, fiber and coaxial applications.
Tell us what your system needs.
Choose “Not sure” whenever a specification is unknown. The final inquiry will keep your selections for engineering review.
What is your application?
This helps rank suitable series. It will not automatically exclude other compatible products.
What will the connector transmit?
Select the primary function. Choose Hybrid when power and data/fiber/coax must share one connector.
Where will mating take place?
Wet-mateable connectors can be mated in the intended underwater environment. Confirm the exact mating procedure with engineering.
Enter the electrical requirements.
Use continuous current per contact. Leave unknown values as Not sure.
Define the mechanical environment.
Depth is treated as a minimum requirement. Advanced filters remain available on the result screen.
Connector families to review
Verify final specifications with engineering.

Your requirements may need a custom contact layout, cable assembly, mounting thread or housing solution. Send the selected requirements to our engineering team.
Built for critical subsea connections.
Recommended configurations are reviewed against the approved electrical, mechanical and environmental requirements. Test parameters are confirmed by product series and project.
Hyperbaric Pressure Testing
Pressure and hold-time parameters are defined against the approved series specification and operating requirement.
Insulation Resistance
Electrical isolation is checked to help identify sealing, material or assembly defects before product release.
Contact Resistance
Electrical pathways are measured to confirm stable low-resistance power and signal transmission.
Continuity & Withstand Voltage
Pin-to-pin continuity and dielectric performance are checked according to the selected configuration.
From selected requirements to an integration-ready proposal.
Your submission gives our engineering and sales teams a structured starting point, reducing repeated questions and helping confirm the right series faster.
Engineering Review
We review the selected transmission, mating method, electrical load, depth and installation requirements.
Series Recommendation
A suitable HYSF connector family and configuration are proposed for final technical confirmation.
Technical Package
Receive the relevant series PDF, dimensional information, pin assignment and available STEP file.
Quotation & Lead Time
Pricing, cable options, production lead time and sample availability are confirmed for the project.
Start with a common subsea requirement.
Choose a typical application to load example requirements into the selector. Every final configuration remains subject to engineering confirmation.
ROV Camera Connection
High-speed video and power connection for an underwater imaging system.
Subsea Thruster Power
Wet-mateable high-current delivery for work-class ROV power systems.
PBOF Sensor System
Pressure-balanced oil-filled connection for deep-water sensing and instrumentation.
Questions before final selection?
These answers cover the information most often needed before a connector series can be confirmed.
What is the difference between wet-mate and dry-mate connectors?
Wet-mateable connectors are designed for mating in the intended submerged environment, while dry-mate connectors should be connected before deployment. The correct choice depends on the operating procedure, pressure environment and maintenance plan.
How should I select the required depth rating?
Use the maximum operating depth, not the normal or average depth. Also identify pressure cycles, temperature, fluid exposure and whether the connector will be mated at depth. Engineering will confirm the suitable safety margin for the selected series.
Can one connector carry both power and Ethernet?
Yes, hybrid configurations may combine power contacts with Ethernet, signal, coaxial or fiber channels. The pin layout, shielding, current load and cable construction must be reviewed together to control interference and maintain the required data performance.
Can cable length, cable OD and conductor size be customized?
Yes. Provide the required cable length, outer diameter, conductor quantity and gauge, jacket material, shielding, bend requirement and termination details. HYSF can review standard and project-specific cable assembly options.
Can you provide dimensional drawings and STEP files?
Series PDFs and dimensional information are available through the selector. STEP files can be requested for engineering integration. Confirm the final connector model, mounting style and thread before releasing a design for production.
What information is needed for an accurate quotation?
Please provide the application, mating method, contact count, voltage, current per contact, data type, operating depth, mounting style, cable specification, quantity and any existing drawing. Unknown values can remain open for engineering review.
