Can HYSF integrate Fiber Optics (Optical Pass-throughs)?

Yes. As data requirements grow, HYSF has developed Hybrid Electro-Optical connectors. We can integrate Single-Mode (SM) or Multi-Mode (MM) optical termini alongside standard copper power pins within the same shell. This allows you to transmit high-bandwidth 4K video and power your ROV through a single connector interface.

Optical integration is the pinnacle of subsea connectivity.

  • Low Loss: We utilize precision ceramic ferrules to ensure low insertion loss (<0.5dB) even under high pressure.
  • Hybrids: A common configuration is “2x Optical + 2x Power,” ideal for tether management.
  • Testing: All optical connectors undergo rigorous pressure testing to ensure the fiber does not micro-bend or crack at depth (60MPa).
