We don’t just “spot check.” HYSF utilizes a comprehensive, precision-driven testing system. Here is the exact protocol every batch is subjected to, as detailed in our quality standards:
- Hydrostatic Pressure Test:
- Equipment: 100MPa High-Pressure Pump.
- Procedure: Connectors are sealed in a pressure vessel filled with water. We pressurize it to the target level (e.g., 60MPa for deep-sea series) and hold it for 60 minutes.
- Pass Criteria: Zero leakage and no structural deformation.
- Insulation Resistance (IR) Test:
- Standard: We apply 1000V across all contacts and the housing.
- Pass Criteria: Resistance must exceed 200MΩ. This ensures no short circuits even in high-humidity environments.
- Dielectric Withstand (Hipot) Test:
- Procedure: 1000V AC/DC is applied between pins and the shell to verify insulation integrity.
- Pass Criteria: Leakage current must be < 10mA.
- Dynamic Continuity Test (“Shake Test”):
- Procedure: We monitor real-time resistance while vigorously shaking and bending the cable assembly.
- Purpose: To ensure internal wiring connections are robust and won’t fail during dynamic ROV movements.
