Quality assurance at HYSF is rigorous. Our pre-shipment testing includes Hydrostatic Pressure Testing (up to 100MPa pumps for 60 minutes), Dielectric Withstand (Hipot) Testing (1000V), Insulation Resistance (IR) Testing (>200MΩ), and Dynamic Continuity Testing to ensure zero failure under real-world conditions.

We don’t just “spot check.” HYSF utilizes a comprehensive, precision-driven testing system. Here is the exact protocol every batch is subjected to, as detailed in our quality standards:

  1. Hydrostatic Pressure Test:
    • Equipment: 100MPa High-Pressure Pump.
    • Procedure: Connectors are sealed in a pressure vessel filled with water. We pressurize it to the target level (e.g., 60MPa for deep-sea series) and hold it for 60 minutes.
    • Pass Criteria: Zero leakage and no structural deformation.
  2. Insulation Resistance (IR) Test:
    • Standard: We apply 1000V across all contacts and the housing.
    • Pass Criteria: Resistance must exceed 200MΩ. This ensures no short circuits even in high-humidity environments.
  3. Dielectric Withstand (Hipot) Test:
    • Procedure: 1000V AC/DC is applied between pins and the shell to verify insulation integrity.
    • Pass Criteria: Leakage current must be < 10mA.
  4. Dynamic Continuity Test (“Shake Test”):
    • Procedure: We monitor real-time resistance while vigorously shaking and bending the cable assembly.
    • Purpose: To ensure internal wiring connections are robust and won’t fail during dynamic ROV movements.
